Bozeman Naturopath Focusing On Chronic Illness and Cancer
I am Dr. Noelle Butler and I specialize in naturopathic medicine for individuals with chronic illness and cancer. As a young child growing up in North Carolina, I was always drawn to art and healthcare. In my thirties, I figured out how to combine the two areas of interest with naturopathic medicine. Creating a life of the best possible quality is an art. And creating a long life requires integrative medicine. My purpose for being in healthcare is to release the restrictions that prevent individuals from living a life of the highest quality. I am driven by my passion for helping people first and foremost as the mother of two boys. I am my best when I spend time outdoors, create delicious food, and read a good book.
As a naturopathic primary care physician I have a special interest in naturopathic oncology. Cancer took the lives of my grandparents when my father was very young. My father taught me I that I could be a doctor that makes a difference in people’s lives by improving how cancer is treated. Extensive education in cancer treatment and research allows me to meet with patients and their loved ones anywhere on their journey, from the suspicion of cancer to survivorship. I work closely with oncologists and other practitioners to create a team approach. I am first and foremost an advocate for the patient in navigating the process of cancer care. I believe in creating the healthiest possible outcome for cancer treatment and provide information about how to enhance therapy of a conventional or non-conventional nature, depending on the patient’s preference. For patients in treatment, I provide services that help patients manage side-effects and optimize their therapy. For patients in survivorship, I focus on care that prevents the recurrence of cancer.
I graduated with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. I have additional certification by the Upledger Institute in craniosacral therapy and the Barral Institute in visceral manipulation. With an extensive background in whole foods nutrition and physical medicine, I achieve amazing results for my patients. I am an accredited physician with Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital and work closely with their patients and oncologists.
I give talks at the Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital Cancer Center and the Cancer Support Community every month. I am member of the Montana Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. I look forward to being with you at Spring Integrative Health!
