Nourishing your body shouldn’t feel like swimming against the current on a daily basis, but it DOES to so many people. We live in a world where healthy living is a battle. We are bombarded with processed foods, heavy marketing and so many challenges that come with keeping you and your family healthy.

I WASN’T ALWAYS OBSESSED ABOUT WELLNESS. IT WAS A SLOW LEARNING PROCESS AND I WILL NEVER FORGET MY FIRST DAY IN NUTRITION SCHOOL THAT IT DAWNED ON ME THAT IF I AM LEARNING THIS INFORMATION, I AM GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE HUGE CHANGES IN MY LIFE AND IN MYSELF TO BE ABLE TO TRULY WALK MY TALK. NOW 7 YEARS LATER, I HAVE BEEN THROUGH SOME HUGE GROWTH SPURTS AND TRANSFORMATIONS BUT I WAS NOT ALWAYS THIS WAY! IN COLLEGE, I ENJOYED A PEPSI EVERY DAY, SUFFERED FROM TERRIBLE ACNE, AND WAS A GOOD 15 POUNDS OVERWEIGHT.

MY love for yoga, meditation and mindfulness lead me to nutrition.

I am a clinical and holistic health counselor and founder of NourishMint Wellness.  I started my practice in sunny San Diego, then in Coeur d’ Alene Idaho and most recently Bozeman! I love supporting people to live vibrant and healthy lives through nutrition, yoga, psychology and lifestyle to support overall balance within the body. I believe strongly  in the direct correlation between the quality of food you eat, and the way you feels physically and emotionally.

I know from personal experience that it is a challenging task of knowing how to eat to efficiently, fuel the body, and use food as medicine to create optimal health.I absolutely love teaching clients how to navigate scary food sensitivities or the intimidating health food store, prepare healthy meals, and ultimately nourish and support the body back into balance.

As an experienced clinical nutrition counselor, Emily has studied the major dietary theories and use practical lifestyle coaching to guide clients in individualized wellness plans. She provides one on one nutrition counseling, group counseling, corporate lectures, wellness retreats, private yoga and meditation, grocery store tours and educational programs and events.

Emily holds a B.S in Psychology, as Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist and is accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I hope to inspire and teach my clients that same balance, joy for living, and overall healthy lifestyle.
