What is naturopathic medicine? Is it safe for me? What do you treat?

Naturopathic physicians integrate the wisdom of nature with modern medical science to find the root cause of disease and to stimulate the body’s inherent healing processes. Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are trained to discover the unique building blocks each individual needs to aid in this process using the 6 Naturopathic principles. Diet, lifestyle changes, exercise, botanical medicine, supplements, and other cutting edge therapies are the tools ND’s employ. Naturopathic physicians may also use pharmaceutical drugs when necessary. Naturopathic treatments may include the following practices and modalities: clinical and laboratory testing, nutritional and botanical medicines, dietary recommendations, homeopathy, intravenous and injection therapies, lifestyle changes and various forms of counseling. Naturopathic doctors promote wellness using the safest, most effective and least invasive therapies available.

What does it mean when you say you look for the “root cause” of disease or imbalance?

An appointment is always required to see one of our doctors or providers. However we have Walk-In Shot Bar times every week for Vitamin Injection Therapy. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to be updated for walk-in hours every week!
Your body gives you signals when you are not feeling well or when something is off. It’s like a computer when an alert comes up:

-You can ignore the alert or warning and continue on with what you are working on.
-Or you can take your computer into the shop.

By ignoring the problem your computer may go on to function okay for a while, but eventually the lack of updates or internal viruses will take hold and bring your computer’s functionality to a complete stop. When and how you address these problems can affect the way your computer runs for another couple of weeks or for many years down the line.

Here at Spring our Doctors and Providers are tuned into the “alerts” your body is giving you. We alleviate the annoying pop-ups while finding out what is causing these alerts internally within your hard drive. We want to help you fix your problem at the very root not just put a temporary band aid over the issue.

What is homeopathy?

Homeopathy is the treatment of disease by minute doses of natural substances. This is a holistic and natural approach to medicine that treats each person as a unique and whole individual and stimulates the body’s natural healing process.
