My Journey:
Health and wellness has always been a passion and interest of mine. It started in the kitchen cooking with my grandmother when I was younger. This lead to my interest in creating recipes that were still indulgent, like the ones she taught me, but healthy. My love for spiritual growth, nontoxic chemicals, essential oils, yoga, and mediation were also many other factors that lead me to my holistic health journey.
In college, nutrition was always one of my favorite courses. Although I was studying Dental Hygiene at the time, I knew there was something more for me, something more fulfilling. That’s when I finally decided to take a leap and go back to school at Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I graduated as a holistic nutrition coach. During this time I also became a certified postpartum doula focusing primarily on Ayurvedic modalities where I learned much more about key foods to help mother and baby heal with nourishing meals and herbs.
In 2021 my husband and I relocated to the Bozeman area after living in Kansas City for over 6 years, where I connected with Dr Alisun and Emily at Spring. I’m excited to join the Spring team to further my knowledge and continue to learn from Dr Alisun and the team!
With intention and self love in mind, I truly believe food can heal, along with some mindfulness practices to help empower you to learn how fun and simple living healthy can be from birth on.
